Windermere offers a welcoming and inclusive environment—private club perks without a private club attitude. And the social aspect is just as much, if not more enjoyable, than the golf itself. You feel like you belong to a large extended family.

Golf

A great golf course is the living, breathing heart of an outstanding private club. That’s true at the world’s best golf clubs and it is the case at Windermere. Our course tests the best players while creating enjoyment for all who walk its fairways or roll a putt on its greens.

Our par 71 championship layout is exceptional. It’s eminently walkable, with mature trees lining rolling fairways. On the back nine, Windermere connects with the North Saskatchewan River, creating both a challenge and a feast for the eyes. When combined it creates one of the most breathtaking venues for golf in Canada, and yet it remains a facility where pace of play is exceptional for a membership that loves its course.

Club

Windermere is more than just a golf club—it is a club where golf is the core, but also a community of members who enjoy the family time and opportunities it offers.

A vibrant social calendar is part of what Windermere offers—much of which your entire family can take part in, while other opportunities are aimed at couples.

Practice

Busy lifestyles should be reflected in the way a private club operates. Windermere recognizes that, which is why the club has one of the best practice facilities in Canada. It starts with a 150-yard grass tee box that provides you with the ability to prepare for situations you’ll face on the course.

Practice makes perfect, which is why Windermere goes above and beyond by offering The Loop, 3 – par 3 holes ranging from 65 to 123 yards. Ideal for honing your short game, and working with your children to instill the love of golf, the short game area isn’t something you’ll find at other courses in the area. Just another way Windermere sets itself apart.
